Alibag, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, MMR & Mumbai 3.0
- Alibag — Design Metrics is an architecture studio rooted in Alibag, on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra. We design villas, farmhouses, landscapes, and interiors tuned to coastal climate, monsoon patterns, and the slower rhythm of living outside the city.
- Mumbai — In Mumbai the constraint is space, and the discipline is making every square foot earn its place. We design apartment interiors, home renovations, and workplaces where storage, daylight, and circulation are solved properly rather than decorated over.
- Navi Mumbai — Navi Mumbai is a planned city, and it shows: wider roads, orderly nodes, and a steady supply of new towers reaching possession. Most of our work here is turning a bare developer shell into a finished home, clinic, or workplace.
- MMR — The Mumbai Metropolitan Region stretches from the island city out through Thane, Kalyan, and Vasai-Virar, and south through Panvel, Khopoli, Karjat, and Pen. We work across that whole spread — which means very different project types under one studio.
- Mumbai 3.0 — Mumbai 3.0 — the Third Mumbai corridor around the Navi Mumbai International Airport and the NAINA planning area — is being built now. Most plots here are still open land, which makes this the rare place where design decisions are made before anything is fixed.
